The West is Our
Playground
Utah and surrounding states offers
incredible recreational opportunities. Each year youth spend a week in
Escalante Grand Staircase National Monument and have a therapeutic wilderness
experience. They also take part in a three-day, white-water trip that includes
camping and fishing on the Green River at Flaming Gorge. As well, youth camp
in the Uinta Mountains and the Manti-LaSal National Forest.
The ranch owns a 22-foot Catalina sailboat, which
the youth sail on nearby Utah lakes. They also enjoy Utah's grand outdoors by exploring
ghost towns, hiking in deserts and mountains, and fishing in lakes and streams throughout
the state.
